During the remaining Christmas weeks, the publicity team will be stroking their chins and discussing the top books to be published by other publishers in 2013. Let me tell you something, there are A LOT. De-clutter your bookshelves people because you’re going to need some extra space!

Just to be different I’m going to start off with the new Bridget Jones! Who is not excited about this book! Bridget is me, right down to the Christmas Jumper wardrobe choice. I can’t wait to meet her again; she’s like an old friend.

On a theme, Lucy Robinson’s first book The Greatest Love Story of all Time was a genuine thrill and pleasure to read so her new one; A Passionate Love Affair with a Total Stranger looks fantabulous, I’m expecting lots of belly laughs from this one!

I’m hoping Patrick Rothfuss hurries up and writes the next book in his Kingkiller Chronicles but at a thousand pages a go, I’m fearful the wait might be long.

The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls by Anton Disclafani, looks beautiful and sounds gorgeous and with a quote from Curtis Sittenfeld on the back you can’t go wrong, I’m sold on the title alone. I could go on and on, there are so many fabulous books out next year that I’m planning on upping my Goodreads reading challenge to 100 books!
