Terry Pratchett is without doubt my favorite author. He’s helped me to feel happy when I was sad, and has made me happier when I was happy. I’m errr…missing Dodger…the johnny series…and a few of the recent almanacs. Just thought I’d mention it, you never know. Thanks

Sir Terry’s one of the best! Been reading his stuff for years and hope to keep reading his stories for many more.

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 4:35 pm by Larry Kennedy

Love Pratchett since the first day I read him!
I took up Light Fantastic, and read it while Dvorak´s “Slavonic Dances” played in headphones :)

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 4:34 pm by Marek Litnevski

I’ve been reading your stories for years & love how they take me from real life into Real Life and all the while make me think about real life…

I love Terry’s books!

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 4:22 pm by Anthony Chown

I hope I have a chance – as a German resident. Actually I have a lot of fun with “Snuff” – but a major disadvantage of all TP books is that they end too soon …

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 4:01 pm by Karsten Schueckel

Even though I have read *most* of Sir Terry’s books and own *most* of the one’s I’ve read, any and all copies would be welcome. That just means one less book that my son and I will have to fight over when he moves out.
Thanks!

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 3:42 pm by Mike Haines

Is it okay that I in fact HAVE read (and even bought! ^^) a couple of his novels? =) And that I’m living in Germany (just as a shipping issue)?

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 3:41 pm by David Maponya

I have read some of sir Terry’s work and would love to read some more, I found him to be witty and funny, With a great sense of irony aimed at the seriousness of life today.

Have been reading Terry Pratchetts books since the age of 12 -18 years-and I always rely on my bookshelf full of Discworld (and non) to keep me reading. There is nothing more enjoyable than curling up with a good book, even better if you have read it before and the story /storytelling still keeps you entertained.

I’ve read most of Discworld, but have many friends who are still missing out. If I win I’ll see that the book finds a good home, one way or another.

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 1:40 pm by Angus Goodson

I’ve been a Pratchett fan since book one (yes, I’m that old…)and whenever I feel depression sneaking up on me, I listen to all my Pratchett books on tape (I lost all his print books in a house fire) and that works better than Prozac!

Posted on October 30th, 2012 at 1:25 pm by Gene

I have only recently discovered just how wonderful the works by Sir Pratchett truly are! I’d love to expand my collection.

Hi! Thanks for making something like this, to give away books of such a great author is of a remarkable generosity. I’m from Chile, and here is kind of hard to get english books. Please, if you send me one, I’ll pay any fee’s of shipping.

And if I don’t get one, you still are very nice for doing this. Thank you.
