Bestselling author, comedic genius and all round God of fantasy writing, Terry Pratchett is going to be stopping off at Foyles on the Southbank for a book signing session on the 14th June.
It is a well-known fact that I am (I’d love to claim to be the only one but there are many of us) Terry Pratchett’s biggest fan so this is going in my calendar in every shade of permanent ink known to mankind. (And August 16th as TP will be at the Edinburgh Festival!) (And not forgetting the Discworld Convention) So realistically my calendar’s pretty much ruined with ink (which is a shame as it’s a Discworld calendar).
Terry will be at Foyles from 12 noon to 2:30pm on the 14th June which is fast approaching. I would recommend arriving with time to spare as a good place in the queue is always morally uplifting and if not you can console yourselves with the beautiful vista that is the Thames from the Southbank.
It’s a maximum sign of 4 books per customer, so before you haul all of your 36 Discworld novels into your suitcase marked for London not to mention all the unmissable tie in’s I would suggest a careful analysis of all of their merits, meticulously choosing the four titles that have meant the most to you throughout your reading career. On the other hand you could do what I’m doing, using the scientifically proven eeny meeney miney mo method of selection. It works every time. Keep checking back for more Pratchett news, it’s the 25th Anniversary of the Discworld this year so exciting things are happening!
I’ll see you there.
